February almost over

Our Park in Hemet, Not Fancy but Nice! And a Reasonably Priced Park $$

Where did THIS month go? We are amazed at how fast this winter is flying by, even though we know it doesn't actually go any faster, just our perception of it. Our weather hasn't been bad, a little cool, but very bearable. It certainly doesn't slow us down. Tom is still going to water aerobics even when the temperature is in the 40's. Not for Donna though - it's just too cold then. We are having fun with our new Wii. Donna uses it more than Tom, but it gives us a lot of laughs. We are enjoying our new park. It seems more residential than like a regular winter rv park, but we are making friends and keeping busy. We are still going to Weight Watchers. Tom is doing very well and Donna isn't losing as fast as Tom, but is still losing. We're finding it to be a very manageable eating plan and don't feel deprived most of the time. Some days are better than others. We don't have any exciting adventures to report this month, but are just happy that life is going well and we're healthy. We can see snow on the mountain, but it never gets this far down - thank goodness. Life is good.

Our New Home

Goodbye Tucson....Hello New Home in Hemet!

We arrived back in Hemet on February 2, and set up in our new home park for the rest of the winter. We are really enjoying it so far. It's a smaller park (about 500 sites) but everyone is very friendly and there is plenty to do. We haven't even scratched the surface of the activities yet. Tom has been very busy washing and waxing the car and truck - both were pretty dirty. The truck was especially dirty from our travels. Now everything is so shiny, it's blinding!!! He's also been doing some maintenance on the 5th wheel - it never ends when you have one. He loves it all though. The streets are so nice here that riding his bike is really fun and the best part of all is that we are only 1/2 mile from Wal Mart - now he goes every day!!! He's never bored.

We are having our first happy hour company this afternoon and the weather is perfect for it - high 60's. The pool here is also very warm and fun for water aerobics.

We finally bit the bullet and bought a Wii last weekend. What fun I'm having with it! We also bought the Wii Fit and it is a really fun way to get some exercise. Tom and I haven't entered into any competitions yet and I think he's scrared of me!!!
When we played in Tucson with our friends, I really got hooked on it. Tom isn't quite convinced that it's such great exercise, but I'll get him there yet.

Hope you are all enjoying the weather where ever you may be.
