HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL OF OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Christmas at the Kids

We had another wonderful trip to Ukiah, CA, to spend Christmas with our granddaughter, Julia, and Donna's daughter and son-in-law. We were gone for a week and so glad to be back home. Although we love our travels, there's still no place like home! We had a wonderful Christmas week with the kids. We stayed in quite a bit as the weather wasn't great. Bubba (Tom) and Julia built a gingerbread train - lots of fun and good candy! We played games with Julia and even got some family knitting in. Tom actually picked up the knitting needles again after a several months' break and made a blanket for one of Julia's dolls. Santa was good to all of us. Now we're home for the winter, except for one short trip Tom is going to make in January. We'll tell you all about it later. It's hard to believe another year has passed - it all goes too fast. We will be celebrating New Year's with our friends, Paul and Cheryl. We get pretty wild - dinner and cards, but we love it. Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season and that the coming year is the best yet.

4000 miles later. . . . . .

Our Road Trip

We are back in Hemet. We arrived on Sunday early afternoon. During our travels we: saw Tom's cousins and uncle in Dallas; visited Tom's brother and sister-in-law in Austin; spent a few days with Tom's sister in San Antonio. While there we saw the river walk and took the boat ride to see all the Christmas lights - awesome. We also went to one of Tom's favorite restaurant - Tiptop Cafe - yummy fried onion rings and chicken. As usual, we ate too much. We went to Donna, TX, and stayed with our good friends, Wilma and Jack. We had a fantastic time seeing old friends, going out to dinner, and Tom and Wilma and another friend all went to Mexico one day. They had a blast. After leaving the valley, we went back to Tom's sister's for the night and finally started our trip home through west Texas. It took two days travel to get to New Mexico and on Saturday we went to Apache Junction and spent the afternoon and evening with our friends, Rita and Tom. All in all, it was a fabulous trip and we really enjoyed outselves. Tom missed "Charm" a lot but Donna didn't miss her until we actually got home. It felt so good to be back in our little house again. Our friends, Paul and Cheryl, had us come to their house our first night back where we had a delicious dinner and caught up on our news with each other. Now, we're settled back in for about 10 days before we take off again headed to Ukiah for Christmas with our granddaughter. If we had any more fun, we couldn't stand it!!!

Granbury, TX

Oklahoma City Memorial

Oklahoma City Zoo

We are now in Granbury, TX. We had a great time in Oklahoma City with Donna's sister and brother-in-law. We saw the Murrah Building Memorial - very distressing, but also gave us a good feeling about the way people drew together to help the victims, their families and the rescuers. After leaving there, we went to Bricktown and had lunch followed by a boat ride through the canal. It was fun and informative. One day we went to the zoo (it was a free to the public day) and had a nice long walk and then a tram ride. There were many, many kids there, but we managed to see and do everything we wanted to. Thanksgiving day we had a relaxing time, went to dinner, played cards, went to see "Life of Pi" (excellent movie), played more cards. What else would a person want for Thanksgiving? Our time with family went so fast and this morning we all went our separate ways. Sister and husband went to Branson and then on to Michigan and Tom and I headed south to Granbury. We are going to visit one of Tom's college friends here, then Sunday head to Dallas to see family again. Tom misses the rig, Donna doesn't yet. It's fun to be away for a while and just wing it a bit. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Amarillo, TX

We are getting close to our Oklahoma City destination (270 miles to go). We have had a great trip so far. Yesterday we were in Moriarty, NM, and we visited RV Sales and saw Ralph and Kathy Chowning and some other Excel owners we had never met before. We had a great visit and Tom was able to spend his gift certificate on things he just couldn't live without. Today after doing our water aerobics and having breakfast, we headed east to Amarillo. We arrived in time to have a late lunch at The Big Texan. You may have heard of it - they offer a free steak if you can eat it in 1 hour. It's only 72 oz. or 4.5 lbs!!!! No, Tom didn't try to do it. We hoped that someone would be there trying for it, but no such luck. We had a great lunch and enjoyed the circus-like atmosphere very much. After lunch, we ran a couple of errands then checked into our motel. We decided to just kick back and have a quiet evening as we know that once we are in OKC we will be busy having too much fun with Donna's sister and brother-in-law. It's always a good time when we get together. We're also glad to spend a few days off the road before we head to Texas to see more family and friends. We'll keep you posted about our fun times.

Flagstaff, AZ

We left Hemet bright and early this morning and headed east and north! We made it to Flagstaff in 9 hours which included our breaks. We saw some beautiful scenery and had a very pleasant trip. After arriving here at the motel, we put on our bathing suits and headed to the pool for some much needed water aerobics! We finished up with a nice soak in the hot tub and now both of us are very relaxed and looking forward to another day of fun travel. We both enjoy a road trip so much and even though Tom misses our "Charm", he's beginning to relax and enjoy himself. I know by the time we get home, we'll be glad to see Charm again, but I think it's fun to take a vacation for our "vacation" life style. More news from the road soon!

Hemet, CA

Trip to Reno

We are in Hemet now for the winter. We arrived last week but were unable to do much with the blog as the Wifi was terrible. We are now in good shape with it and Tom is so glad. We left Ukiah on Oct. 22 and went to visit friends in Winters, CA, overnight. Jane and John were great hosts and we had a fun visit with them. From there we went to Reno, NV, to visit Paul and Mary Wells. We had to go over Donner Pass to get there and it was closed because of snow. After waiting around Sacramento for a few hours, the pass was open and we were able to get over it with no problem. While in Reno, Tom and Paul went to the car museum and had a grand time. They also did a 3 hour tour of Reno on Segways. Here's a little videoclip of Tom being released from "turtle" mode and allowed "rabbit" mode!! They had so much fun. While they were having their fun, Donna and Mary went yarn shopping and lunching. We also had some time to catch up on our knitting. Sunday evening we went to a performance of the Jersey Nights and it was fabulous. Paul and Mary are wonderful hosts and we left Reno reluctantly to head to Hemet. We traveled down Highway 395 which is an amazing route. We saw beautiful mountains, colorful fall leaves and the time just flew by. The day after we arrived in Hemet, Donna went to a Red Hat tea - very posh! It was nice having such wonderful treatment and the food was delicious. Since we've been here, we have been busy seeing our old friends, going to water aerobics and Tom has been busy getting things done on the rig - no new news there. We are leaving in about a week on a trip back to Oklahoma and Texas to see family and friends. We are driving the car and taking a "vacation" from the rig. Every once in a while, it's good to leave home at home. We're excited about it and we'll post from the road to let you all know about how much fun we're having.

Ukiah Pumpkinfest 2012

Ukiah Pumpkinfest 2012

The weather was perfect for this years Pumpkinfest. We attended the morning parade and Julia and her Mom Beth did a "Flash Mob" on the street with Julia's dance group. I took a video clip and hope to be able to put a link here. I took the video from the backside, so Beth is the gal near the bottom of the screen with the orange ball cap. She's quite a dancer too! Julia is about midway up on the very right of your screen. Also take gander at Ms. Donna in the audience with her very bright pink Susan Komen ball cap on. Does that girl have rhythm or what? What a fun day!

I thought this guy was pretty good on his break dancing performance.

Julia At Her Silks Practice Class

Grandma Donna and I got to attend one of Julia's classes. Watching this 8 year old girl made me so proud! She is awesome and it's amazing how she can make her body do all those moves. I snapped a few shots for you to see what it looks like. Did I say "amazing"???

Stay tuned for more activities as we have the "Pumpkinfest" on Saturday and Julia is involved in a "Flash Mob" dance. We'll update ya on that!!! Stay tuned.

Ukiah, CA

Julia With Her Collection of "My Little Ponies"

On Friday, Oct. 5, we left Portland and headed to Ukiah to visit our kids. We had a wonderful trip south, beautiful weather, and good roads. We arrived in Ukiah on Sunday afternoon and have been very busy since. Julia is in 2nd grade this year and besides school she has drama, dance, silks class and gymnastics. She loves it but I think her mother is getting worn out. Beth also started a new part time job right after school started so their lives are pretty hectic. While we're here, we try and help with the transportation, cooking some meals and generally just enjoying them. Tomorrow we're taking some time just for "the girls" and we're going to Santa Rosa to celebrate as we all have September birthdays. Fun!! We will be here for a couple of weeks and will update the blog with some of our activities.

Mini Vacation

Our Little Vacation

Last week we took a mini vacation from the rig, the park and Portland to celebrate our 17th anniversary and Donna's 65th birthday (same day). We went to Bend, OR, and stayed for two nights at a very nice B & B (Juniper Acres) and saw some of central southern Oregon. Our B & B was a beautiful log house out in the country and it had all the comforts of home including wonderful breakfasts and homemade cookies waiting in our room. Our hostess was very friendly and regaled us with stories about her life as a B & B owner and also listened to a few of Tom's stories about being a park host. Some of those stories seemed very similar. While there we met with John and Janie Dean who we know through the Excel forum and had drinks and fun conversation at a nice place called the Alehouse. It felt like we had been friends all along. Tom was surprised to find a Early Ford Car Show in Redmond, OR that he happily attended. They had Fords from 1932 to 1954 and although he's not a Ford guy, he really enjoyed checking out the 300 beautiful restored cars and visiting with their proud owners. There was a forest fire in the area near Sisters (a small town north of Bend), but it didn't deter our travels at all. We did see and smell smoke some of the time but it wasn't bad. We made a short stop at the Stitching Post Quilt and Yarn Shop, but because Donna had committed to use more of her yarn she has on hand before buying more, we left after only a few minutes. The tempation was just too much! We saw some pretty country, one deer and lots of horses and cattle. It was peaceful and refreshing. We returned home rested and looking forward to our next journey south to see our granddaughter and family in early October. From there we'll go to Reno for a few days to visit our good friends Paul and Mary Wells and then down to Hemet for the winter months. Summer in Portland has gone entirely too fast and fall is definitely in the air now.

Almost September

Here we are at the end of the summer - Labor Day Weekend already! We don't have a clue where the time went, but we have had a great summer here in Portland. We've been doing water aerobics six days a week, Donna has a knitting group with both new and experienced knitters, and Tom is working as a camp host again this year. In between all this we have taken a few day trips, gone to movies, eaten out and visited with friends. Our friends, Mary and Paul Wells, returned from their summer trip to Alaska and spent a few days with us. We had a great time. Mary and Donna did lots of yarn shopping and we also had some good meals together and lots of visiting. We hated to see them leave but will see them again this winter. Some more friends, Ralph and Cheryl, are joining us this coming week for a couple of days. We always have a great time together. We only have another month left here in Portland (whine) and then we'll be heading south again for the winter with a stop off in Ukiah, CA, to see our granddaughter and family. She's in 2nd grade this year and VERY busy. Life is good and we hope you have all had a great summer.

A Visit with Ken and Lee

Happy Hour with Ken and Lee

Yesterday day we went to a very nice Happy Hour with Ken and Lee our former Excel friends. Let me better explain that! Ken and Lee used to own an Excel which they FTed in since 2007. They recently upgraded to a very nice and fancy New Horizon Majestic custom built 5th wheel. For those who may not know, NH is about the fancist/most expensive unit on the market today. The coach is 38 foot long and needs a Ford 450 MDT to pull it as it so heavy. I didn't take any outside pix (NH website pic below), but it has a beautiful full body paint job.
Anyhow we had a lovely time and got into lots of conversations and just got caught up. Great friends and a lovely time indeed. Ken and Lee are going to be in town for a while so we are gonna have a HH over at our place and show how the "poor people" live!

Summer is here!

Donna's Projects

We are happy to report that both of us are well and having lots of fun.  Donna's tooth was fixed with a patch and if all goes well, it will last a long time.  You know, the teeth are gettting old!  The dentist said that tooth is 60 years old - guess I'm lucky it's still there!   What could have been a two hour dentist visit and lots of money turned out to be 30 minutes and not so bad.

Our friends, Paul and Mary, were here to visit us last weekend.  Donna and Mary were lucky to spend a girlfriend's day eating brunch out and yarn shopping!  What fun we had.  They were with another couple from their neighborhood, Bob and Judy.  The next day, they all left on a trip to Alaska where they will be for the next 3 months.  Hope they have a blast.

Another set of friends, Stephen and Leona, from Chilliwack BC, Canada, paid us a visit the next day.  It was so good to see them again!  They are such fun.  We had a good visit, barbeque lunch and ice cream as a send off.  We look forward to seeing them again this winter in Hemet.   They were in Washington to visit Mt. St. Helen and were just an hour away, so wanted to get together.

While Donna was down with bronchitis, she had even more time to indulge in her favorite addiction - knitting.  Included are some pictures of some items I've made.  I'm so proud of Tom because he's decided to learn how to knit too.  It's a riot listening to him carry on and watch him get so frustrated.  He isn't as persistent as I want him to be (I'm the teacher, you know), but he keeps trying and that's what counts.  One of these days, he'll make something.  It seems a couple glasses of wine makes it go smoother, but when he looks at it the next day, he can't figure out what he did!!!   It's all fun anyway.

We haven't had a chance to take any short trips that we are planning this summer, but now that we are both well, we plan to get out and go soon.  When we do, we'll have some pictures to show and something interesting (we hope) to write about.

Hope you're summer is going well and Happy 4th of July next week.

Not Much New....

Sorry to be "stalling out" on the blog, but not much happening to report. It's been raining a bit here, which is normal for this time of the year. We thought because we had some unseasonally nice warm, dry, sunny weather when we got here, that the rainy season was gone........wrong!!! Tom is healed from the dreaded bacterial crude that he had for 7 weeks. And Donna is mending nicely too. Not completely done with it, but much, much better. We had a "date day" today and went to the movies and saw "What To Expect When You're Expecting"! Cute show, but not outstanding by any means. Donna broke a tooth on some popcorn while watching the movie. Always something. She's going in to see what can be done tomorrow AM. We'll see what we'll see. Work here in the park is going well, no big events happening, but we are doing our Water Aerobics classes 6 days a week (weather permitting). Tom is also attending a walking video class in the clubhouse twice a week.
Lots of scheduled events are coming in July and August. It will be fun for sure. Not much else to report, but we hope your summer, is going great and we wish you the best of health and great fun!!!

Portland, Oregon

We made it to Portland safe and sound on Friday afternoon.  We didn't come in to the park until Saturday so Tom would have all day to get everything set up - and he took it too!  He starts working this week and is looking forward to it.  We are still coughing but hope that soon it will stop.  It's something that many of our friends and family have also had and all of them said it takes forever to get over.  On a brighter note, Mother's Day was very nice for Donna.  I spent the day with my daughter, Sarah, had brunch and saw a movie.  It was so good to see her again.  She's very busy with her upcoming move to a new apartment and her job is also very demanding.  She loves it though.  Her new apartment is across the street from her store, so she can go home for lunch and doesn't have to drive to work.  She's also able to have both her dog and cat there.  We miss our granddaughter and family, and really enjoyed our time with them.  No other big news from here for now.

Julia, Our Granddaughter on Silks

Ms. Julia Prepping For Her Performance at Mayfaire

Here we are in Ukiah and it's been a big week for our granddaughter, Julia. She was in her first grade play and we just returned from her performance at her Mayfaire celebration. The pictures are of her practicing in the back yard and that was the performance she did at her school. She was the youngest student on the silks and did an amazing job. We are so proud of her. It's hard to believe a 7 year old has that kind of strength and awareness of her body. She is quite the go getter. We also watched some other performers before we headed home. It was a very warm day and Donna doesn't do the heat very well. We are still trying to recuperate from our colds. Tom seems to be doing quite well and I am still feeling pretty rotten. We are going to stay here until we both are better. Traveling when one is sick is not fun. We are both enjoying having some quiet time and spending time with Julia and family. Beth has been very busy with her garden but still takes time out for some time with us. More when we hit the road again.

The Reagan Library in Simi Vally, CA

Before I get started, I have had several folks comment that the slideshow goes too fast. After doing some reserch, I found out the speed can't be changed per the Google folks. However, you can control the slides by putting your curser in the pic on the slideshow in the right lower corner you can click to stop and start the slideshow as you want. Just FYI.

Well we finally made it out of Hemet and have been staying at Elks Lodges along the way. For the most part the Elks along the West Coast are nice places to stay, plus we usually get into a nice meal and interesting folks. While we stayed in Simi Valley, we took a quick tour of the Reagan Library. What a spectacular tour we had. The library is packed with Docents and lots to see. They even have the old "Air Force One" (Boeing 707) on site. You can actually tour it also. If you're in that area I think it is well worth your time. Donna was not a big fan of Reagan prior to this tour, but has changed her thoughts of the Jelly Bean kingpin!!!

We are now at the Salomone's parked in their driveway as usual for this time. Donna has got Tom's cold and we are both laying low trying to get rid of them. Julia is growing like a weed and we got into town to see her in her first play at school (first grade). It was pretty good and lots of fun. Amazing how loud kids can be playing, but pretty quiet when reciting their lines!!! That's about it for now. Have fun and travel safely.

Update on our travels

Joshua National Park and Rib Dinner!!!

Almost three weeks ago, Tom had an accident while he was helping one of our friends with their fifth wheel and cut his hand pretty badly (about 20 stitches). Because of that, we have postponed our planned departure from Hemet. We aren't sure when we'll leave but are playing it day by day and will leave whenever Tom's hand is healed enough to get ready and drive the truck. It's coming along very well and luckily there was no bone or tendon injury.

On Easter Sunday, Tom and I fixed barbeque ribs for dinner and our friends, Ralph and Cheryl joined us. The ribs were delicious and we had some fun after dinner playing cards. Tom had planned on fixing the ribs when some of our other friends were still here, but the hand injury made us postpone. We told them we'd make it up to them next year.

On Monday we went to Joshua Tree National Park with Cheryl and Ralph. We really enjoyed the drive and also seeing the park. It was interesting to see all those Joshua trees in one area. The weather was perfect, the view was great and the friends were very pleasant.

This has been a busy winter with all of our activities and very enjoyable. Almost all of our friends have left for the summer and new adventures. We miss them and look forward to all getting together again this fall. We will even see some of them over the summer. Hope you all are doing well and we'll update you on the rest of our plans as soon as we know what they are.

Hummingbirds

Just a quick add that I thought was pretty cool and wanted you to see. We have 2 baby hummingbirds and Mom living in a nest on a fifth wheel pin stabilizer across the street from us. We've been watch this nest just after they were born (about 2 weeks ago). Check out these little guys and Mom doing the feeding session. Ain't nature cool? Enjoy.

Update on hummers...boy do they grow fast!!! Only 6 days older than in the slideshow above. Wow!

Photobucket

OK.....last hummer update 4/15/2012 7:00 AM

Both babies are flying around the nest with Mom. What a sight. God's creations are absolutely amazing!

Diamond Lake Adventure with a Pontoon Boat

A Day at the Lake

Well we found out from some folks in the park, that on Wednesdays the boat rental at the lake is half price. That makes a senior's eyes pop open!!! Diamond Lake is very close to Hemet, so we didn't have far to go. Poor Donna was sick so she had to stay home, dawg-gone it. Seven of us Excel folks took some drinks, lunch vittles, sunblocker and headed out for a day of fun. And fun it was, as the weather was picture perfect. Paul Wells was our seasoned captain and did a great job. We found a nice and peaceful cove to have lunch. We were quite impressed with the fact that the lake has three "floating heads". I have to admit that was a subject that had entered my mind prior to the outing!!! Guess CA folks don't like anyone peeing into their lakes like we used to do in TX!!! Ha. Everyone had such a great time....we only wished Ms. Donna could have been able to share in our perfect outing.

Recent Happenings at Mountain Shadows RV Resort!

What a busy time we've had lately! We had a ladies luncheon in February and Tom, along with some other men from the park were our photographers and ushers. It's the first time he's been dressed up like that since we went full time. I thought he looked handsome. He had his picture taken with me and then with our friend, Lee. We felt pretty special! All we had to do was sit and enjoy ourselves while the men both served us and then entertained us with a barber shop quartet.

Our good friends, Wayne and Marianne, decided Tom needed yet another crazy hat, so they brought he and our landlord, Ron, one each. It's been the cause of lots of laughs for sure. He wouldn't wear it on St. Patrick's Day though. I guess he didn't want to get too much attention! (If you believe that, I have a lot in the Sahara I want to sell you.) We had fun on St. Pat's day with our Excel friends, Paul and Cheryl, Ralph and Cheryl, Paul and Mary. We went out to dinner for cornbeef and cabbage, then back to Paul and Mary's, for dessert - yum. Beautiful apple pie, huh? As you can see, we all fit quite well in the Excel - even Bella, the dog. She was a great hit with everyone.

That's the highlights since we last wrote. I've also been on several yarn crawls, looking for beautiful yarns to make more things. Mary and I have so much fun we are dreading the end of it the first of April, but all things must come to an end. It's been such a fun winter and has gone so fast that I can't believe it's almost April already! Hope you are all having a wonderful time.

Happy Hour at Our Home

It's about time!!! This is our largest HH this winter at our rig. Donna is visiting the kids and GD's home in Ukiah, CA. so I decided it would be a good time to have a bunch of friends over for a little food, libation, and chat. There were folks coming and going, but I imagine there were about 27-30 folks all together. My HH was in competition with the park variety show rehearsal and the regular Friday afternoon HH/pot luck. All went well and we had lots of fun. We are so fortunate to have so many friends!

Unfortunately, as soon as it was over and I started cleaning up, I ended up coming down with a bad head cold. Darn it!! This is my second one this winter. I'm laying low and doing all the good things you should when sick.

Donna is having fun in Ukiah and I'm so glad she can make these little trips to spend quality time with the Salomones. Of course I'm excited to see them when we head north for the summer and south for winter. We are able to park our home in their driveway and that works very well. The kids always treat us like royality while staying with them!

That's about all right now as I'm nursing myself back to good health. Life is good! Very good.

Borrego Springs, CA

Sculptures in Borrego Springs, CA

Saturday we took a day trip to Borrego Springs with our good friends, Paul and Cheryl. Borrego Springs is kind of out in the middle of the desert and it's quite a small town. We went there mainly to see the metal structures made by Ricardo Breceda. These sculptures are very large and very beautiful as you can see from the pictures above. This artist has made over 125 of these sculptures and they are placed throughout the desert on both the south and north ends of town. My favorite was a wild horse standing so straight and tall. He just looked so free! I think Tom's favorite was the scorpion (he's a Scorpio) and it was very shiny!! He likes shiny things. We had a great lunch at Carlee's and then a leisurely drive back to Hemet. It was a longer trip than I had anticipated but so enjoyable. Our time in California is quickly drawing to an end and I'm not ready for it to be over! This winter has been so much fun and so busy - we are so blessed.

Happy Valentine's Day 2012

Dave and Wonda's Valentine Party and Fashion Show

Valentine's Day started out early for us - with Tom wishing me Happy Valentine's Day with a card,a balloon and a promise of a steak dinner at a local steak house. However, that dinner had to wait as this was a busy day. After an early morning water aerobics class (brrr), Tom was off to cook 200 hamburgers for a park board meeting and Donna was off to knitting group followed by lunch and yarn shopping with my friend, Mary Wells. Later in the afternoon we attended a Valentine's Day party where Donna was part of a "fashion show" (pictures above). It was so much fun and the group loved it! The ladies were very creative with their costumes and so funny too. We had a "box suit", a "fir hat and stole", and several other great outfits. We had a potluck, entertainment and lots of visiting with all our friends. We have met so many wonderful people this winter. I can't believe how fast it's all going. There is only 6 weeks left before we are back on the road again. How can we slow time down? If anyone knows, please fill us in!!!

Quick Update in Hemet

Just One More Hemet Wompem Party

You must think that's all we do!!! You are just about right. Our great Canadian friends Marianne and Wayne had yet another party. Lots of fun and the weather was just perfect. It's been a while since we posted, cause we've been too busy with all the activities.

Donna and Tom should be getting some pix with up and coming events, so stay tuned! Our good friends Paul and Cheryl have arrived and we've done some happy hours and meals for sure. It's always fun to get together with them.

More to follow, so stay tuned! Ain't life grand???

Who Said Old Folks Can't Have Fun????

Marianne and Wayne's Wompem Party!

Our good Canadian friends Marianne and Wayne had a Wompem Party the other day and had about 40 folks to their site. I asked Wayne what the hell is a wompem party? He said..."you'll find out....just come and wear clean underwear"!!! Here's a link. Basically it is a dowel glued to a wooden closet rod cut to about 6"long. After spraying the end piece with Pam Spray, you put a jumbo bisquit dough (not flakey) to the end of the closet rod and carefully work it down the rod evenly. The ladies go first so that the sexist comments can be by the men. What fun! Then take it to a hot charcoal and slowly rotate the bisquit over the hot fire until golden brown. When ready take a napkin and hold the bisquit and give it a little twist. Off it comes with a nice little pouch to fill with the pickins of your choice. The selection of fillings are endless. Chili, cut up weinees, sloppy joe filling, ect. Also desert type items like, cherrys, apples, ice cream, whip cream, chocolate, etc, etc. A note of caution, don't wear good clothes, cause the stuff squirts right down the front of your shirt!!!

As you can see the folks had a great time. The old man dressed up in the "fat ladies suit" is our 80 year old land lord who is a hoot! He is so funny...tells jokes, stories, sings and has a good old time! What a riot. The guy with the bango is our neighbor man Leo who is 90!!! He sings and plays pretty darn good. I like it when he sings...I just don't look good naked anymore!!! Check out the gal in the yellow top and brown pants...she's 80 years young!

We are having so much fun in this park. The folks are wonderful and the weather unbelieveably super!! It don't get no better than this!
